Each Saturday morning I try and take Gilda for a walk that encompasses at least part of Market Street. We always stop for coffee at Rick and Pam's (Market Street Coffee and Tea).
This morning it was warm and sticky and as we sat there (actually I sat - Gilda only does stand and lie down) drinking coffee Rick came out with a kiddie cup of vanilla soft serve and offered it to Gilda. Well let's just say Rick now has a new girlfriend - instant bonding.
The funny thing though is that for a 100 pound dog with what seems like a foot long tongue not only was the 3 ounce cup licked clean, but maybe only a couple of drops were spilled.
It certainly made for comments from people passing by (and no she doesn't have a saddle, or eat a ton of food).
